3 Different Things
Had an Illustrator test in class just now. Illustrator is a close friend of Photoshop actually, so close that they can be mistaken as brothers or gays. HA! But I still prefer Photoshop to Illustrator (yes I'm aware that both of them have different functions). About the test, I passed it after the second try!! A BIG Thankz to Mustapha for constantly helping me out!!!
That Mark Hillman came again today for our project's critiques (of which I fell asleep halfway through with my MP3 Player ON). Before that, he showed us some crap videos. Among them that I could remember VIVIDLY is the man shitting while running around. Disgusting Freak! Guess he has nothing better to do, or nothing to do at all!
Colour Theory was BOOORRIIINNGG!! Most of the 3hours I was listening to songs and staring at the the people at my table, which makes life even more Boring! HAha! Oh and Yang Tien actually liked my painting of the castle yada yada yada blah blah blah...

That Dumb Question!
Doing Media Theory right now in the middle of the great and peaceful night with me and my MP3 Player (I still want an iPod!). We were given a really dumb essay qns, and I'm not gonna embarrass Linus Bin Wang by calling him dumb as well (the fact that he IS!). The worse thing is, we have to answer that idiotic and dumb essay qns in around 800-1000 words! That IS horrible considering the fact that the qns is completely dumb and can only be explained in around 300 words AT MOST! If explained further, most of it will totally be crap. I just feel like saying this to Linus Bin Wang. PERIOD (reminds me of the Periodic Table, ah I missed Chemistry!)

I took this IQ test from this website http://www.iqtest.com/. And my IQ is 110! There is a certificate provided but I must pay $10. Haha think I got nothing else to spend my money on is it. Hmmm... the website claimed that it is original and can be trusted, but still, hmmm...Ok so what the hell. 110 is 110! Is this good? Or average? Or exceptional? HA!

My First Guitar Lesson!
Haha Thankz soooo much Ernie for teaching me the guitar! Well, now at least I know the basics, JUST the basics. We spent one half hour under her block (which was at Choa Chu Kang!) playing the guitar. Imagine me traveling from hougang to CCK just for guitar lesson! But yeah it was very worth it. Looking forward to more lessons! HA!
I did this for my final drawing test!!! We were supposed to express ourselves in any form. Does it look expressive?

BORING!
Blogging in school now. Today is a boring day. We watched a boring video with the same boring lecturers. BORING!
Loving The Apprentice!
Yes I'm currently addicted to the tv show, The Apprentice! And I'm watching it on tv right now while blogging. I feel that sometimes the participants are just completely dumb! Period.
I did this yesterday using what I have learnt on Adobe After Effects Pro 7. You don't have to know what that means. Just take your time and appreciate it. HAHA!

Esplanade Crashed?!!
Today there is a Photoshop test. We were supposed to create a montage based on 3 pictures given (clouds, trees, letter A). It was pretty easy actually but I was told to re-do because I gave a dramatic scene in which the esplanade was crashed by the letter A, breaking into 2 parts and the ghost of Sir Stamford Raffles looking at the scene. HAHA! Mr Eric didn't like it and asked me to re-do the whole thing. Oh well...
After that the 'ang moh' Mark Hillman came again to go through some of our works on MTV Alternative 30 secs promo. He speaks in a very weird way in his british accent. But what I like is that he uses F alot of times as though it was some casual word. Not to mention that has a weird way of thinking! By just viewing a person walking he told that that person was masturbating........
Finally Yang Tien said something nice about my work on Colour Theory!! We were supposed to paint this drawing and I used watercolour. Although it looked impressive (Haha), he only mentioned NOT BAD....But at least I got some praising...
Tomorrow there will be a last drawing test. Oh and one more thing. My mom kept saying that I looked like Aliff Aziz (The ANUGERAH winner). EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm so much better looking...Another thing, today is the first time I saw Sulinah laugh her ass off sampai muka merah cam api seh.

Vacancy: A Movie Worth Watching
Just watched Vacancy yesterday night at Vivocity. Overall I would say that this is a good movie. Not excellent but its worth watching. The movie took place in only one place for the whole 1 and a half hour. Throughout the movie I could feel the *horror feel* and thats actually good. It makes me want to know whats happening next. People who didn't like this movie would probably say that there is no twist. Yes there is no twist but Vacancy do not need a twist. Its good the way it is.
It was alot of fun watching with my other 2 friend and seeing their reaction while in the theater. One was covering the right eye and the other was purposely slipping down the chair and covering the cheeks in horror! HAHA! As usual, I was laughing for some scenes although it was meant to be scary and shocking. I don't know I just felt that funny! HA! And my friend called me a *sadistic*!! Come on it is JUST A MOVIE!
Next I'm planning to watch ALONE thats gonna be released around 26th of July I think. Prepare for another good laugh! HAHA!

End of a Torment
I failed my drawing test again!!! But I did expect to get low grade for this test, but not fail! I think Yang Tien is anti-firdaus! Argh!
Finally finished project 3 presentation on MTV Alternative! Say goodbye to project 3. Now we can rest this weekends while waiting for Ms Tina to explain to us the next project. Yes there is no break!
Yesterday I was struggling to animate some things in after affects and my computer kept on shutting down by itself while its rendering! Lucky for me, I already had a spare one before hand. And I slept at 4am! But my project was still undone because there is still the storyboard and colour mood board. So I woke up at 7.30 am and finished it around 8.15am. That was pretty easy. Oh thankz ALOT to Jia En for constantly helping me out with After Effects! Don't worry nuggets on me! HA!
Today's presentation was great! Though I think I presented a little too fast, I'm confident that the lecturers got what I was explaining. Today I didn't clap my hand like the beginning of an Indian dance like I used to (right Yinwen?) HA!
Gonna catch a movie (Vacancy) later around 7+ with Zianafolks!! WOOO!!!

The Good and The Bad
Before I begin, I would like to wish my goooood, kind-hearted friend, Han Hui a HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! (It was on the 14 of July and this is the 5th time I'm wishing her) Since I didn't give her any presents, I just gave wishes. HA! Han Hui is seriously a very very nice person! I still remembered that time when I pestered her not to help buy stuff for our classmates. She was like *Don't be so bad! Must socialize*. Haha see! She is indeed a nice person!
The Good thing, I FINALLY KNOW HOW TO USE AFTER EFFECTS!!! After around 3 months in this course only now I know the basics (only basics) of after effects. It was yesterday when Ms Tina held a test for After Effects. We had to create boxes and animate them. Sounds easy? Well, for around 2 hours I managed to complete only 15 seconds. Even the experts struggled through! In the end, I PASSED the test! At least my 2 hours efforts aren't wasted. For the first time in my life I'm gonna use this software for my 3rd project. Hope it turns out brilliant (fine is not good enough!).
The bad thing, today there was another drawing test! Our task was to draw a car plus the surroundings. Drawing the car was really easy. What was difficult is the shading!! AFter I finished drawing the car, I thought *Hey this is not so bad, I shouldn't fail this*. But after I shade the car, I was just speechless! Not because its a masterpiece, BUT, its the most horrible drawing I ever done in this course!!! But with ALOT of help from Ernie and Rachael, I managed to give a complete makeover to my drawing. In the end, it turned out fine (just fine).
Oh while drawing a long-lost friend of mine spotted me and sat down to chat with me. Yes it was Izdihar to the rescue!!! Yeah we crapped ALOT!

I Am NOT Stress!
Today was a very long day. Had a little chat with Miss Tina (15-20 mins I believe). Felt so much relieved after that now that I know where I stand. She told me that I didn't put in enough effort for my projects which is very true indeed! Also, the first thing she asked me was *Are you stress?* and when I answered *NO*, she was extremely shocked! You should have seen her weird face with her mouth open (if only I could get a snap of it, HA!). But I'm really puzzled about whats there to be stressed about. You only have one project to complete! Its not as if you have to deal with 10 projects at the same time!
I FINALLY HAVE A CONCRETE IDEA ABOUT MY PROJECT!!! Finally after 3 weeks I only had the idea today! Thousand thanks to Jed Xianbin (forgot your surname) and Natasha Lim for giving me a great, great, great help! I can just hug them till they become skinny like me!
Then I went to my former secondary school's military band! It was so fun seeing my old friends! They grew so much! (but I'm still taller than them) Oh and Yang Fan is migrating to England next week. How saddddd....

The New Guy
Today basically went to macpherson (is the spelling correct?) to collect wacom pen. Not collect actually but BUY. And it cost $70 for just one pen! The wacom tablet itself cost $449. Damn my school is rich! Oh ya wacom tablet is like a mouse for laptop or pc, but using pen instead to move around. Its made specially for drawing purposes.
After that followed Jia En to replace her hardisc for FREE!!! Of coz I was jealous! HA! Oh along the way she told me loads of interesting stories about...
Then we went Toa Payoh to eat! I ate Nasi Goreng Ikan Bilis while she ate Chinese Rojak! Yes I'm so detailed that I have to mention the food. And then we departed and I went to my friend's place to hang around. Ok it was Sameer's place. And I made a new friend today!! There was also another guy in his house and after abit of introduction we just talked! (although just some few words).
Oh thanks to Sulinah, I'm addicted to the song UMBRELLA remix by Chris Brown.

Is It A Wake Up Call?
I got a D for drawing test today! Tell me that its bad! Yes for the first time in my life, I failed my drawing!! Well, its not that its crap, rubbish or ugly, but its INCOMPLETE! The moment the lecturer (the thin 'guy') saw that I only completed half the page, he immediately put it in the D side of display. He didn't even look much at it! Argh! Yes I'm very slow when it comes to drawing! But would u rather look at an OK but completed drawing or NICE but incomplete? Hmmm...
Miss Kamalam (the comm. skills lecturer) told us today that there would probably be no more comm. skills lesson in the future. Being a comm skills fanatic, (I just invented that, but I really love comm skills, or should I say Kamalam? HA!) I am extremely disappointed! But she did mentioned that we could request for comm. skills lesson in the future, but I doubt the class wants it. Hmmm... Oh btw, as interesting as it sounds, I yawned 9 times in that one hour of comm. skills.

My First Condom!
Ok please don't be excited after you read the topic. Firstly, I would like to wish my good-funny-bubbly buddy RINA, A HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! (it was yesterday, Sunday) She's such a great friend to have, well, only after she lent me her notebook, photoshop and illustrator cd (that didn't work, only photoshop did), going-to hardisc! HA! Seriously, she's a great friend because she's always smiling whenever I see her, and that's wonderful! Ok enough praising, or else someone will be jealous (right Jia En?) HAHA!

The Garden Blooms
Yes that's the title of my former secondary school's concert that were held in Anglo-Chinese School!(I have NO COMMENTS about the title) Went with my good friend Jonathan, then met up with my band friends, then my classmates, and more friends and even teachers! Well I just got back from it! Its supposed to start at 7pm but it dragged till about 7.30pm due to the chaotic audiences which were mainly students supporting their school's concert. And it ended around 9.15pm (no, not 9.30pm).
Overall it was just OK. Somehow I don't feel the excitement like last year or 2 years back when we were having our own band concert! I don't really like the 3 songs chosen for this concert. *Midnight Escape* (the second song, which resembles *The Incredibles*) was nice but the other 2 were boring.
The performance I really enjoyed most was the DANCE (I think alot of people would agree with me)! What makes it so memorable is the mistakes they made while performing. Not one, not two, but FOUR MISTAKES!!! They held this 2 lights in their hands while dancing and it dropped 3 times!!! The first was about to drop but the girl managed to save it, embarrassing herself while doing so. Trust me it was REALLY ENTERTAINING watching the mistakes (I'm NOT being sarcastic!)! And the audience were happily clapping when the lights fell!
The rest was OK, although I think the choir recorded themselves before the performance and were just lip-synching. HA!

"You Can Do It!"
Yes, that is what Yang Tien told me after my presentation. Ironically, he didn't even understand my concept! And I don't bother to explain it to him as I myself didn't know what was I talking about. HA! But seriously I think my idea is one of the best amongst my classmates'. Its just that I didn't explain much about it which led to confusion among the lecturers.
Throughout the whole presentation I was FREEZING! The electronics theater has got to be the most coldest place in Singapore I've ever been. HA! And my long sleeve T-shirt didn't help me much. Luckily I had to go for Friday prayer and so left a little earlier. Oh guess what, I was HOT after I left the theater!!
Ok a few hours from now I'm going to my former secondary school's concert at ACS Barker Road. There will be performances from gu zheng, dance, BAND and many more! Oh and I'm only interested in BAND!!!

Work, Work, Work
FINALLY almost completed my work for tomorrow's presentation!! Just a few more sketches and I'm done! And I started at around 9.30pm till now (1 hr of listening songs and rounding my house). Hope everything's gonna go smoothly tomorrow morning. How I wish Yang Tien is sick tomorrow or go to some weird countries like he always does and never comes back till 2 years later (my graduation!).

Just came back from school an hour ago!! Actually I wasn't suppose to leave as the lecturer (Miss Tina) needs to talk to us regarding our project, that we are going to present tomorrow. But who cares! I just left right after lunch around 1pm! Not only me but some others as well (apparently the whole group in my table). Today in AV Fundamentals we learn to animate still objects using ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS! IT WAS FUN making those still boxes move around and dancing to the beat!!
But the fun just ends when it comes to thinking about tomorrow. PROJECT PRESENTATION! I really have to do something quick as I don't have much time left. My friends said that I'm very relaxed and I don't look stressed at all! Hmmmm....its good isn't it?

Not Doing My Work?
There is suppose to be fundamentals lesson today, but thank God it was postponed as the lecturer had a meeting to attend. So today is holiday for me!. How I wished it was canceled rather than postponed. The whole day I've been just sleeping, *snackings*, walking around here and there in my house as though it was some palace. And I still have no idea what to get for the birthday boy/girl.
Oh and I'm still stuck with my project. I have not start on anything yet! I have an idea of what to do for the project, but I don't know how to execute it. Well I did a LITTLE BIT of filming in the dark, last Friday around 11pm, but I'm very sure I'm not gonna use that for my project that has to be presented this Friday! So I only left with tomorrow (Thursday). Oh ya while doing filming in the dark, I actually saw a ghost and I managed to capture it! I will upload it here later.
My 3rd project requires me to doo an MTV opening for alternative music! And I'm thinking of punk rock, what do u think?

Woke up at 10.30 am. Actually the alarm rang at 9.30, but as usual I ignored it and went back to sleep. Today is my friend's birthday! Uptill now I still didn't know what should I buy for him/her (I'm not telling u who!). And school's gonna start soon! Maybe I shouldn't buy him/her anything? Or maybe I could just pretend that I totally forgot his/her birthday! Hmmm...

Yet Another Ordinary Day
Went to school today for drawing lesson and communication skills (as if I can't communicate). For some reason, I thought today's drawing was fun! Within 3 hours, all you have to do is draw an object with one eye and the other close. So basically, its just drawing the object with your left eye, and after that, the same object with your right eye. "What's the difference?!" Well, u won't know it until you draw it out. And there is a difference! But what is it? Find it out yourself...
I got a praise from Mr Yang Tien, my drawing lesson lecturer (note that this is the first time I called him MR)!! He told me that my drawing has greatly improved and that that is one of the best drawing I've ever done!! (HELLO, ART STUDENT!) Oh by the way, I drew a bag, not mine but my funny-bubbly-happy-go-lucky friend, Rina. The bag is extremely complicated to draw, from the way its positioned.
After that is nugget break! (right Jia En?, and she bought wedges instead) before we proceed to comm. skills class, and were 15 mins late. I just like Ms Kamalam! (I bet that I'm her favourite student!) Her weird, deep and out of tune voice, her hands and head that cannot seem to stop moving and turning here and there. Its just to my liking.
Met with Araxes and Shih Yann after that in Bishan to pay for my former scondary school's band concert tickets that's gonna held in ___________ (seriously I have no idea!). Araxes just cannot stop laughing, even when I'm telling her i can take either bus 88 or 55 home. Sometimes I wonder whether I'm funny or is the other person crazy, or both?!

Looking Far Ahead
Ok, I'm back by popular demand (also due to some encouragement from him)!!! This is the third time I'm starting a new blog (the last 2 had met with their own demise).
