Looking In

Everyone has had their hungry day before, am I right? Well mine was today, juz now to be exact. Actually it is almost every night, but I would just go to bed. But today was different. Due to some motivation from my dear friend *tabby*, I finally forced myself to cook some instant noodles. Wow the noodles were EXCELLENT!! After that, I was hungry still (not surprising), so I drank some cereals, you noe those how instant cereal drinks. And I'm drinking it right now. So plz DO NOT DISTURB!

Thankz to those who congratulate me!! Please be aware that no matter how many times you congratulate me, I will NOT share with you the money! Ha Kidding...

Yup I'm one of the 10 winners of the 24hr storywritting competition (Projek Cerpen) that was organized by Mediacorp Suria. I received $1000 as a prize and a certificate. My story will also be turned into a 1hr drama that will be broadcast next year January. Ehem...hehe. Of coz I am happy as hell!

After the prize presentation ceremony, the *TV and the radio people* interviewed me because I was the youngest of the winners. Well, I though that I could talk confidently in front of the camera becoz I'm used to presentation in skool, but hell no! I was freaking nervous!! Not becoz of the camera, but becoz of the LIGHT! Serious the lights from the camera really made me nervous. I can't stand lights! Argh!

Well if u want to watch me, I will be on tv tonite (Saturday) on 11.30 pm on suria channel (news). Of coz none of u will be lucky enough as to browse through my blog at this hour and to see this.

What will you do with $1000?

Been so lazy to go to school these few days, but I force myself to (all in the name of Discipline, heh). I'm not sure why but I've been so sleepy this week. Maybe becoz I've been sleeping at 2am+ almost every night. Have to stop doing it or else it'll be come a habit. They say that u need 21 days to break a habit. Is it true?

And I would like to thank Sameer for wasting his time taking pictures of his artwork and sending me that. I printed out most of it, pasted it on my scrap book, and guess what, I Pass!!! I'm so glad considering that quite a lot failed! Thankz Sameer. Please continue doing me a favour.

Oh forgot to tell you this. Last friday, I took a cab to school and it was my first time doing so! because I was extremely late for class. Class starts at 9 and I got in the cab at 9.20. And thursday night I read Cherine's blog on how she took a cab to school all in the name of DISCIPLINE. And btw she arrived in school at 9 whereas class starts at 12am.

I was so inspired by her post and so I decided that I too would be discipline enough for this time round. And it pays because the lesson was very important for my 3d project!

The last weekends I decided to catch up on my playstation games. HA seriously I was bored and since its been a loooong time I've touched my playstation, I thought I would give it a try. So just do some catching-up on some RPG game.

And today...er nothing interesting happened actually.

These past few days has been so long and tiring for me, and most of my classmates. What do you expect, all the projects are due this week. Adidas presentation on Monday, Typography on Tuesday, and 3d on Friday. Been coming home at 9pm + this few days as well. Not to mention to sleep around 3am and wake up at 9am!!! Its worse than working adults! Despite that, I'm not stress! Hah! I don't know why but me and stress don't like well.

Today, finished up my 3d assignments (finally), and help the others on their work, especially Yinwen's. Hehe...Well in all the busyness of our work, it was rather fun day for me, expecially to have Yinwen around. Haha...

TGIF because the next day would be Saturday which means HOLIDAY!

It isn't fun, especially when you have no idea or no tutorial to follow. Spent the whole day today at school trying to finish the 3D assignment which should be handed in by tomorrow (fri). In the end, I didn't even start, and I left at 9pm. Gosh I've wasted 9 whole hours!!

And now here I am blogging while surfing for some online tutorials so that I can follow and hopefully finish up my assignment. I just can't wait for tomorrow to pass. Well, what's now will be then...

Now now isn't that RUDE!!!! I mean this is what you said after 2 years together? Helloooo gerl u failed your english? Or was it meant to be on purpose? Can you use more polite words, especially since you've jus said sorry...? Or u really failed your english? Have u ever felt a slap on your cheeks before? Do you even know what a slap is? If no, would you like one for free? If yes, does it hurt?

I'm mad simply becoz of that extremely rude sentence! If only she's a guy and I'm gay, (I said IF!) I would have pulled her (or his) hair. What do u expect, I'm a gay. (I SAID IFFFFF!!!!) Hahahaha....

Still mad though...

Today I went to Sameer's house (yet again) to use his computer. Since my computer was down, I need to use his to install 3D Max to tryout whether its working correctly. And to think that I passed the softwares to my classmates before even trying em'. Haha...

Since there was no complains from anyone, I concluded it worked fine, and indeed it did! (indeed it did??) Then, completed one of my many 3D assignments and showed Sameer ALL of my word that I did for the past weeks. Hehe obviously, he was impressed. He even liked the 3D software and told me not to uninstall it before I left becoz he wants to play with it (He usually ask me to uninstall everything that I've installed when I come to his house).

After that, I saw Sameer's REAL HIDDEN IDENTITY! He told me that no one has ever seen him the way I saw him! So basically, I was the first one to know and to see (no, NOT THAT!). Well I shall not give away heaven's secrets...Hehe

Left his house after I got sick of his house and went to Jonathan's house instead. He wanted me to help him changing extensions thingy. Then, went jogging. I jogged alone while he walked with his mp3 player because he didn't want to jog so late at night. It was 10.40pm btw.

Then, went home to eat and type this thing.

My dear friend Michelle got 4 tickets to Bee Movie at Great World City for FREE! Apparently, her company gave it to her. I wonder why since she just started working a few weeks ago. So, she invited her friend Shanta (no, not Santa!), her brother Jonathan, who then invited me. Is invite a too formal word? Ok how about ask? No its too common. Well whoever has any word that can replace the word 'ASK' please kindly sacrifice your precious time and inform me.

I and Jon took the train to Raffles Place to meet his sister. And from there we took a cab to GWC. My God I tell you we walked here and there for half and hour just to find a cab becoz 90% of them are hired and some didn't know how to get there. (Er, ok...) And as expected, we arrive at the theater late. I think we missed around 20 mins of the show.

When we got there, it was packed!!! Some were even standing up, becoz it was a free seating. Trust me this is the first time I heard free seating in a movie. So at first we sat on the floor at the corner. But not long after, some guards find some seats for us and forced us to seat there (it was the first row for God sake!!), becoz we weren't allowed to seat on the floor.

About the movie...One Word, STUPID! ok another 2 words, UTTER RIBBISH! ok last, 3 words, WASTE OF TIME. I'm so glad that the tix was free! Or else I would have gone of the theater halfway through the movie like I did when watching Mr and Mrs Smith. I'm not even a fan of 3D movies in the first place (well, FInding Nemo is an exception). Ok back to Bee Movie. It wasn't even funny and the audience kept on laughing and laughing continuosly. Apparently, there was jokes continously throughout the movie, which were not funny to me. Oh did I mention that it was Childish? I thought I was watching Kids Central. The only part that was funny was the racist joke and the aeroplane searching for the flower. Oh Michelle and Jonathan actually liked this movie, Michelle is 22 btw. Those weirdos...Haha Kiddingz I think Im the weird one here. Ok I think I've criticized this movie enough and I'm sorry to Bee Movie fanz who ACTUALLY enjoyed this movie. Of u're some stranger reading these, you don't wanna know who wrote it...

Yes, I live once again! Firstly, a very BIG thankz to my dear Ernie who has helped me out choosing blogskins, though I didn't take her selections, but I really appreciate the help. Secondly, a more BIGGER thankz to my buddy Sameer for 'renovating' my blog. Yup he added the links and tagboard (though he should have change the colour of the tagboard which doesn't suit my blogskin).

And now, everything is back to normal and I have more reasons to blog FREQUENTLY. There's loads of stories and news that I wanna share. Maybe I will even post a few entries today (while my mood is still up).

Firstly, I wanna say that I got in for the PROJEK CERPEN that was organized by Suria! PROJEK CERPEN is a 24-hr short story competition whereby one must stay overnight and write a story which must consists of minimum 2000 words. Sounds easy right, considering that its only 2000 words and you have like the whole day to think and write. And u can even call for help. You can call your teachers for ideas or ask anyone to check on your story and get their opinions before you submit. Isn't that simply Amazing with a capital A?

Well, the participants are required to camp in in Kampung Glam Taman Warisan Melayu *Malay Heritage Tour) which was at Bugis. We are also required to report there at 845am, and once everyone is gathered, the official race will start at 10am sharp! ANd at that time, we were told to take an envelope that has our name on it. Inside that envelope will be the theme of the story that we have to write and also the judging criteria. Well, my theme was SUSPENSE and I have to include elderly, adults and children in my story. (Isn't that the whole age group?!)

Another interesting note, the competition was featured on television!!!!!! Er, like 5 mins, but who cares. And my face appeared on TV!!!!! BUT I was so frustrated becoz I was only featured for 3 measly seconds!!! I mean, u scared our tvs will break is it? (if you know what i mean)
