Looking In

While some people had an excellent day today, I had a terrible day today.

Yes, while I have the mood and quite free now, though still not even halfway on my typo assignment. Firstlly, I joined a CCA! Believe it or not, its Track and Field!! ITs been a long time...The last time I joined this cca was when my primary school days.

And the TAF (not TAF club but track and field) training made my leg CRAMPED till today (since sat). Actually not the whole training, but it was this particular exercise that really hurts. Its called the Guaranteed Death Leg. Ok I just invented that up. I don't know whats the name of the exercise, but ultimately, it made the whole TAF team's leg cramped! But still, the training was fun! The people there are fun too! COuldn't be any funner! ANd for the first time in my life, climbing up the stairs was much easier than going down. And I need to sit and pray because of the cramped. Well, at least I pray, right Sameer? (WAKAKAKAKA)

Can't wait for 17th May! Guess lah!!!! Just guess can?!!!

Ok, if you guys didn't know it yet, I and Sulinah entered this malay songwritting competition in which one must composed a song and lyrics. The theme is our own Prophet Muhammad saw. We must write praisings about him. And ya, we didn't make it to the top 10 finalists. And today is the voting day which means all the 10 songs will be posted online for us to hear and we will have to vote which one we like. After listening to ALL of the 10 songs, my comments are as follows...Be prepared, its NOT good.

1) The theme is about Muhammad saw, and 3 of the songs' lyrics has nothing to do with him. OOOOOOKKKKK.

2) The songs all sound alike. Only around 3 stood up, but also weren't much difference. So, by listening to a couple of these songs, you will get the feel of the whole 10 songs.

3) One of the lyrics (I wont mention songs), has a very very weak lyric, even uptill a point whereby it sounds funny.

4) Mine is definitely better than some of the finalists lor.

Ok, and now I'll speculate the reasons as to why we didn't get in.

On the day we submit our songs, the shop was closed and we were told to give the submission to another shop which had this old auntie and uncle who is the shopkeeper. And we need to give $5 for entry fee.

1) The auntie didn't give the songs to the organizer, because she was very blur-type. And so, we might not even be in this competition in the first place.

2) The auntie kept the $5 note to herself and told the organizers that no one submitted.

3) The auntie just gave the submission form and not the songs.

4) I burnt the disc wrongly. Maybe it had Ziana Zain's Dingin instead.

5) The auntie lost the cds which contain our songs.

6) The auntie ate them up.

These are just speculation.

But overall, I really seriously think that my song was better than some of then finalists. I've never been more serious than this in my life. Hmmm...

I'm back after years of not updating my blog! Yeah same excuse, too lazy to even go to blogger.com. But now here I am once again delighting my ever-faithful readers.

Actually I have alot of things to blog about. Each day, whenever some weird things happen, I'll go *I need to go and blog about this*. But when I reached home, LAZY! Ok Sulinah just prompt me on sms that I can watch APM at youtube. Type *APM 2008*. ARgh so now I'm totally watching the vidz! ARgh distractions!! Bye bye blog!

Just made a random google search on Haizad Imran just now. I scroll till page 2 and 95% of the entry were talking about how hot Haizad is.

Then made another random google search on Firdaus and scroll till page 5. ALL the entries were talking about how hot, sexy, and handsome I am.

And I DON'T like my seat suddenly. I was sooooo shocked when I first enter the classroom. AAAHHHHHH!!!

AHHHHHH!!!!! Tapi kene jadi baik! Jangan cakap burok pasal die. Buat baik.

AH sorry for the lack of updates because I've been super busy these few days. Songs to complete for competition, postcard and stage design for some event, meetings here and there, work, voting and many more!!

BUSY LAHHHH!!!! and skool starting next week. When's the next holiday?

Here are just some stupidly funny moments of me and my friends.

1) The TBC Talk

My friend msg me that we will be having a dinner at Marina Sq (exact place TBC). So, being a normal human being, I went googling to check where is TBC. Apart from that, I also asked Nadhirah, Marleen and Liyana whether they have heard of TBC in Marina Sq. Nadhirah said that TBC is some kind of a restaurant near Secret Recipe. The other 2 didn't know of such place. After more than 10 mins of looking and asking, my dear frend Liyana finally gave me the answer I was looking for...

TBC = TO BE CONFIRMED!!!

2) The Rich Maid

Recently, I've been working in Mediacorp as a tele-surveyor, which means I call random nos, and ask them to survey. Yesterday, we were supposed to do a survey on banking and financial planning. And one of the qns was *Is you monthly income at least $2000?*. Liyana called and got a maid on the phone. I didnt know what went wrong with her but she confidently asked the maid *Is your monthly income at least $2000?*

3) The House-Bank

I called some random no, and got a chinese auntie who I think can't hear well and speak eng well. You know those old aunties. So I asked her...

Me: I'm calling from Media Reasearch and currently we are doing a short survey on banking and financial plannings.

She: Huh? What what survey?

Me: (Repeated)

She: What what bank?

Me: (I don't know what to say, so I say..) Oh bank people here.

She: Oh this one not bank, this is a house!

Ok gotta go work now...will update later...
